A Passion for Helping People Through Practical and Peaceful Strategies

Youlanda Hunter, Ed.S, MOD, PD Specialist

Founder of CreatedCare Solutions LLC, Est. 2017

I am a Resolution Strategist, Trainer and Coach for Early Childhood programs. I received my graduate studies in Early Childhood Education from National University, Stanford College of Education. I have 18 years of administrator experience and 27 years of child practitioner experience. My master's skills in organizational development and conflict resolution were earned at Abilene Christian University. My administrative business and management skills were earned at the University of Phoenix.

I have learned that conflict is everywhere. “Conflict does not discriminate among age, race, class, gender, or industry.” However, conflict is not always negative. Conflict is an indicator that something is needed or something is desired. When staff are equipped with specific problem-solving tools to address the problem and the knowledge of age-appropriate practices, harmony is achieved in the classroom and center. Confident and knowledgeable practitioners become conflict tamers.

Additional Educational Training: Duncum Center for Conflict Resolution at Abilene Christian University, the University of Phoenix, the Council Professional Recognition Washington DC, the Infant/Toddler Network Specialist Certification through UTHealth, CPR-First Aid instructor, and a Texas Registry trainer.

Work Experiences: I am the director of the program and impact of a non-profit preschool. Other experiences include higher education, Head Start programs, human services, mental health, and for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Positions Held: Director of Programs & Impact, Executive Director, Director of Business Operations, Center Director, Associate Teacher, Administrative Assistant, Curriculum Coordinator, Childcare Practitioner, and Adjunct Professor.
